Season of love is best celebrated doing the things that will make you truly happy together with your family, friends, significant other and even with your pets! This day is intended to commemorate relationships towards loved ones so if you are still confused in where and what to do this Valentine’s day, worry no more! Let me take you to the Top 5 Romantic places to go in Tagum City
1.) Energy Park
This place is known as the camp where a lot of families, group of friends, even fur-parents and lovers go if they want to take a fresh air and take some walks is located at Barangay Apokon Tagum City. Activity such as bike riding is available as well for toddlers to adult for only 20-30 pesos consumable for an hour. Mini Zoo is present too! A lot of animals are being displayed that are surely entertaining but rest assured that are well taken care of. Safety is also being measured by securing a well built shelter for the animals.
Of course a day out will not be completed without food! In E-park food stalls that sells ice cream, pizza, rice bowls and thirst quencher drinks are present along the entrance of the park. You can have a munch on the gazebo sites or in there relaxing front view seats with in the area.
Now that pandemic is still existing, safety protocols are being practiced by having a sanitized pen for the log book intended for the employees, warning boards are also all over the place and a mandatory bringing of hand sanitizers. Its surely feels safe to celebrate the season of love in Energy Park!

2.) Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center
This center is one of the newest landmark of Tagum City. It is considered as “Mother of all Infrastructures in Tagum City” simply because of its available facilities such as the Theater that has 1000 seats and the first ever in kind for the entire Davao Region. It also has the Kagikan Museum which showcases colorful representation of the culture, the heritage and the traditions of the City. Also, the refurbished statue of our dearest hero also takes this place in this area which a lot of individuals find it really attracting and a perfect background for picture takings.
Since it only started during pandemic, it took some time before it was officially open to the public but then again, it is surely worth it given by its informative and yet entertaining kind of trip that is good for all ages. A perfect date place for those who are in to trivia and facts.

3.) San Agustin Botanical Park
This is also one of the well known parks of the city which is based going to Mawab, Compostela Valley Province. This is known for having different varieties of asian tree over 3,700 in total, it has a wide space that is ideal for picnics, for playing any kinds of larong pambansa, for biking or if you and your companion would just love to connect and appreciate nature. Kids and kids at heart will surely love the mini zoo display in this area. This showcase different breeds of birds that are talented and captivating. One of the unique activities that can be done in this park would be the free use of the area for a cardio workout. With is green trees, fresh air and wide space, cardio date would be so ideal in this area.

4.) Huyonh Huyong
This is located at La Filipina Tagum City. Open from Mondays to Sunday 8am- 5pm with an entrance fee ranging from 10-20 pesos only. This nature park is consist of a lot of activities such as boating experience for only 15 pesos you and you companion will have few minutes to take a ride with a small boat. It also has a wising well where in you can throw some coins if you desire to wish or a flower if you want to add a little bit of spice. Picnic ground is also available in this area and a lot of spacious gazebos. What makes this unique is having an open space dedicated to the prayer garden where you can meditate and relax. Other than, Deo Park is the highlight of this park. This is named after the 2 decade year old tree. Its has been planted even before the park has been furnished.
If you are a type of person who loves to do nature park activities, this park would be the perfect place to go this Valentine’s day! Just make sure to mind all the warning posters that are needed to observe especially during this time of pandemic.

5.) Hardin Complex
This would be the last stop! Hardin Complex is a food hub that is consist of food stalls that would really make you hungry by the time you take a glance on their goodies. They have sushi, smokey pizza, tendering baby back ribs, creamy shakes, iced coffees, crispy fries and a lot more! Its located at National Highway, Senangote, Tagum City opens from Mondays to Friday. For those who believe that “food is life” you better dine at Hardin Complex!
