LPU Davao in partnership with Insights Financial Review Services Inc. conducted a Seminar Orientation on Management Accounting and its certification process, October 21, 2018 at Star Hotel Davao.

The participants include Grade 12 students, majority are taking up the ABM track or those who are planning to take up accountancy and related programs. The speakers include Mr. Melosino Melvin Roi Respicio and Ms. Miriam Hapiz, both are Certified Management Accountants and are members of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). The President of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Davao, Ms. Beverlie Montebon, gave an inspirational message to encourage participants to pursue their dream of becoming accountants in the future. Dr Felipe Balingit Jr, VP and Chief Academic Officer of LPU Davao welcomed the participants and also shared his experiences as a CPA.

The activity aims to prepare the participants for their future career as part of the career orientation program of LPU Davao.
