Mission
Inspired by the ideals of Jose P. Laurel, the Junior College Department of the Lyceum of the Philippines – Davao commits to holistically develop, equip students with quality educational experiences and prepare them to be competitive, innovative and change catalyst who are instilled with the values of Truth and Fortitude (Veritas et Fortitudo) to sincerely serve God and Country (Pro Deo et Patria).
Objectives
To attain the vision and mission, the Senior High School
(Junior College) Department shall:
a. Deliver varied instructional practices that integrate contemporary approaches and technological platforms;
b. Cultivate interactive communication skills across different learners to share ideas and relevant experiences;
c. Create equal and inclusive opportunities among learners to support their abilities, creativity, and potentials;
d. Provide challenges and engaging activities to enhance learners’ leadership, decision-making and competitive skills; and e. Inculcate the importance of the institution’s core values in the achievement of lifelong learning skills among learners.
Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM)
The ABM program provides a solid foundation in business principles, accounting practices, and management skills. Graduates can pursue diverse career paths in accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, and more.
The program nurtures entrepreneurial spirit by teaching students how to identify business opportunities, create business plan, and navigate the complexities of starting and running a business. This prepares graduates to become innovative and adaptable in competitive markets.
Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)
Prepare to engage with the world and make a difference! Our program fosters interpersonal skills and encourages interaction with diverse communities, equipping you with the confidence and ability to navigate complex social landscapes.
The HUMSS Strand is meticulously crafted for students aspiring to pursue diverse fields such as journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, political science, education, and more. With our comprehensive curriculum, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in your chosen career path.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
Take the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand and be a Lycean qualified to pursue and complete a college degree with flying colors.
STEM education includes practical, hands-on learning experiences such as laboratory experiments, design projects, and fieldwork.
