GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

BLOOD DONATION DRIVE

On February 29, 2024, LPU Davao held its community extension, the Blood Donation Drive, at the SHL Hall of LPU Davao Campus. This activity would not have been possible without the support of our dear partners: LPU Davao College of Health Sciences, LPU-D College Red Cross Youth, and DOH: Sub-National Blood Center Mindanao.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the blood donors. Let us save lives by donating blood.

The BSMT 2nd Year students of the Lyceum of the Philippines – Davao took to the streets, not just to learn, but to lead in Community and Public Health.

Through dedicated house-to-house interviews, they’ve uncovered the pulse of the community’s health needs. With their hearts and minds set on making a difference, they’ve launched the Flood-borne Diseases Awareness and Prevention program, directly addressing the challenges they have discovered. This journey wasn’t just about education; it was about action, impact, and building a healthier tomorrow together.

The students touched lives and fortified the health of a community they now hold dear. Together, they’ve crafted a future where every home is a beacon of wellness and resilience.

One month, one purpose – to uplift and prevent ‘Flood-borne Diseases’.

Real-world lessons, real impact!
