LPU Davao Featured Employee of the Month: Ms. Amparo L. Monteagudo

Honest people have “few” friends but have “real” ones.

Ms. Amparo L. Monteagudo or who we commonly knew as ‘Tita Ampi” was raised by her beloved parents, Epifanio Monteagudo and Teopila Luna Linga. She has two sisters namely: Leonila L. Mayana with seven children and Elisa L. Dalangin, an LPU graduate with bachelor’s degree in Finance and candidate of Miss LPU Batangas, has four children.

Tita Ampi is so proud on one of her nephews whom she supported in their studies, namely:

Michael L. Maranan, a basketball player who is 6’4 feet tall, a graduate of LPU with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, also a personal scholar of former Senator Sotero H. Laurel and now is an employee of Universal Robina.

Elimae Mariz L. Dalangin, also an LPU graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, a Master of Business Administration and currently ongoing with her doctorate degree. She also has awards like winning fourth runner up in LPU Miss BSBA, first runner up in Uniliver Beauty Contest, a candidate of Miss Batangas way back in year 2017, a LAHING BATANGAN dancer and CCP member, a model student and dancer from elementary to high school at University of Batangas and personal scholar of Miss Josefina P. Laurel.

Mark Eld L. Dalangin, still an LPU graduate with bachelor’s degree in Information Technology specializing in multimedia, he is also 6’4 feet tall, he was once a student assistant in the library at the LPU Main campus and Riverside.

Elmard Ged L. Dalangin, who is 5’8 feet tall is still in studying as Senior High School

Tita Ampi finished her elementary as class Salutatorian in Maluanluan Pola, Oriental Mindoro, she finished her high school in Roosevelt Colleges, Lamuan, Marikina City and finally she took her college in LPU Batangas and continued in University of Batangas.

Tita’s first work was with LPU Batangas as Assistant Treasurer/Comptroller/CPO, secondly, she was assigned in Lyceum International Maritime Academy in Cuta, Batangas, thirdly, at LPU Riverside, Gulod Labac, Batangas City, fourthly, she also worked at Stonyhurst International School, Pallocan West, Batangas City, fifthly, she was with LPU Laguna and currently now employed here in LPU Davao as Property Officer.

Finally, Tita Ampi always reminds students to aim high on grades and not on drugs and lastly to love yourself, your parents, your family and above all God and the Philippines.
