Last October 19, 2018, LPU Davao held a ceremonial topping off as part of the construction of its campus in Davao City. LPU Davao celebrated this milestone together with Casas+ Architects (Lead Consultant), JITS Construction Corp. (General Contractor), Design Coordinates Inc (Project Manager), other consultants and guests. Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio is represented by Hon. Councilor Pilar C. Braga, Chair, Committee on Education.

In a message sent by the School President, Dr. Peter P. Laurel, he said, “This topping off ceremony concretizes LPU Davao’s commitment to our future students, their parents and other stakeholders that we will stay true to our habit of quality and excellence, as right here in the City of Davao, will rise a school with great physical plant, equipped with industry and technology based education and offers vibrant student life that would rival the best schools in the country today. A school that Davao City will be proud of, a school that is committed to producing graduates who constantly seek for the truth and acts with fortitude in the service of God and Country, Veritas et Fortitudo, Pro Deo et Patria.”

“LPU Davao will be part of a bigger project which we call LPU Town which is a mixed used property composed of residential and business areas with the school at the heart of it”, said Dr. Felipe Balingit Jr., LPU Davao’s VP and Chief Academic Officer.

LPU Davao will open in June 2019 and will offer both college and senior high school programs.
